Hey, I saw the REHERSAL show for Zoo TV at the very same place where you are going to see The Police in a couple of weeks.  I thought "Achtung Baby" was great.  Then the milk spoiled.

 Brian [/b]
"Achtung Baby" was fucking garbage, I still find it hard to believe that a band that released "Boy" "October" and "War" had the balls to even attach their name to that piece of shit. [/b]
Any further negative commentary towards Achtung Baby will result in the barrage of water balloons redirected towards you.

 I WILL find you.

I will find you & strike down upon thee with great vengance & FURIOUS anger & you will know my name is The FUCKIN' DIRECTOR!!!!

 Thank you for your time . . . . .

I'm sorry and it's really not to stir up shit but it's a fucking terrible album, I had my doubts as to what they would come up with as "The Joshua Tree" and "Rattle and Hum" were fairly tepid but it was far worse than I had imagined it would be.  You can bring on the fight haha but I'll win by bringing the finishing move and making you watch my video bootleg of them playing the US Festival in '83 and then going back to the "Achtung Baby" era will be like being served warm piss after you just enjoyed a glass of fine wine haha

Another criterion: Claiming that fans of your previous shit band were stupid and holding you back from your future shit band.

I craved to alienate those people because they were so dumb...

back to trashing Damp Scones... their label openly paid a radio station $5K to air a song from their debut album 50 times in five weeks.

He didn't necessarily say that he would put water in the water balloons.

i've heard that record and it had one really great power pop song on it the represent pretty medicore.

i'm guessin he's more pissed by the fact that  more promo copies were sold then actual releases, and watching what those promos were pulling in eBay at one time. i'm sure he was really pissed when Rhino actually released that album.

i saw kara's flowers along with a young phantom planet in la in 1999... by then they were on about their third change in sound..  going for the hootie and blowfish if my fuzzy memory of the train wreck they were.  i got at that show what would probably be a really valuable demo of theirs.  unfortunately its a CDR and the silver has degraded so it's unplayable.

Oh, I totally forgot Pink Floyd.  They are so easy to forget.  They are worse than Led Zeppelin and the Beatles COMBINED.

 Brian

P.S.  Another criteria?:  Being pwned by Stephen Malkmus in a Pavement song (Smashing Pumpkins, Stone Temple Pilots.)

absolutely.  music that has had the opportunity to develop a following must automatically suck.  besides, more than 2,500 peeple have copies of their music - how un-indie is that?

What formula did you use to arrive at that conclusion?
