I'm going. The album is kind of one dimensional, but that one dimension is a killer. I'm betting it'll be a great live show.

live foruming is it a first and or just lame...
 
 Glad I got here early as its not everyday that one gets to see a ska reggae band with a touch of metal from bogata columbia play. Skampida played the roll of warmup perfectly interesting enough to keep my attention and get the juices flowing...
 
 Next up vox and some cookies...
 
 DJ is spinning an Interesting mix of punk hot jazz

 not much to say about vox... Other than they have a violin player, are from providence rhode island, and have several t-shirts for sale...   At this point they are delaying the arrival of why we are all here.. Especially when they lauched into their butchering of a pixies song
 
 Spotted in the crowd is q fellow with a hairdo that would make morrissey proud.

minutes away from gogol  and I would have rather listened to the dj instead of vox...

as expected the chaos peeking through on their records comes out full force live. show started out with lots of energy and fun... however for me the middle section got tedious as the putzed around with several slow songs.  as the band began to pickup steam again towards the end, my ran out...
 
 for those who complain that dc audiences are lame, that certainly wasn't the case tonight.  as the front half of the flooring was sea of moving people totally into the band.
