i'm not sure if that was the setlist the band actually used, but i just listened to the recording on NPR and "We Crawl" is after "Justify/Explode".
Oh man that was sooo gooooood  :)

on a last-second whim the girl and i decided to check out this show - very glad we did.  they're a visual overload, what with 25 people on stage.  i can see why some might say their music is overly happy/sappy - but i was in the mood for that last night so zippy complaints here.  dunno why, but the start of the encore - when the band came walking through an almost-sold-out crowd to the stage - was a powerful visual.  and what to say of their performance of "lithium" other than wow.  the place was going absolutely bonkers.

if you're looking for a way to kill an hour and a half, i strongly suggest that you check out the NPR re-broadcast, it was a heart-felt performance of fun songs.

i think i might have fallen in love last night with the choral singer in the middle of the front row - the way she whipped that hair around, *siiigh*...

Based on a setlist, wasn't keeping too close of a track on it.

That show was so unbelievable. Definitely one of the best of the year for me.

they are so brilliant live. there is never a dull second in their set. last night is also probably the best time i've seen them as well. i was happy to see them wear their robes for the encore but their new look is quite cool. lithium was fucking crazy! i was standing at the very front and everyone was just going mad it was really cool to see!
people around me during the support band were quite loud though. maybe it was more noticeable at this show because she wasnt very loud but i still found it a little annoying having to try and ignore how loud and shrill they were. but aside from that which isnt such a horrible thing at the end of the day, it really was an amazing gig!

Have to agree, great show.  I was at the back, and during some of the quieter parts, there were some pretty loud conversations (and worse that is when people would yell to friends in other parts of the room).  Missed the opener, but that is too common when people come just for the headliner, the opener is viewed as chat time.

Funny. If she's not known for her hair and the way it moves, she should. (I think that's why she's in front. ;) )

After living in Dallas during Tripping Daisy's heyday, I still find it interesting to see how the remaining members of that band are doing something completely different in fulfilling Tim's musical vision, especially when Tim had pretty much dropped out of music altogether.
And GREAT fucking show Saturday night, I saw that guy at the show who filmed that "Lithium" clip on youtube, christ what a piece of ass he was    :p

straight out of a conditioner commercial, wasn't it?  the video has a few quick moments of that straight-haired sensation doing her thing, but they're not great (see 3:22 or 4:38 for a quick glimpse).  elsewhere during the show she did 360's that just fanned it out like a propeller.

what do you mean by "piece of ass"?  i saw him, set up in the center of the VIP booth with the camera on a tripod (not that it shows, his camera work is still jerky).  i didn't pay much attention to him, i assumed he was shooting for the band.

yeah, t'was indeed a great night out.
