if i had paid for my tickets, i would've wanted my money back.  it was a decent show, but definitely not what was advertised.  glenn was obviously having a bad night, and that happens to everyone, but cutting the misfits portion of the set was not cool when that's what sold a bunch of tickets.

Glenn played a 60 minute set and a 10 minute encore (both containing only Danzig solo material) then he went bye bye into the night (where was Danny from North Side Kings when we needed him to knock Glenn on his ass again? HAHA).  Since this was a last second thing for me (friend called yesterday with an extra ticket) I hadn't checked online to see if he was doing the Misfits songs with Doyle on this tour but after suffering through Doyle's shitty-ass excuse of a band (with transsexual onstage stripper to boot) I was hoping he'd at least attempt to redeem himself by coming back out to do a few Misfits songs with Glenn.  I'm with thatguy, if I had paid for my ticket I'd have felt a bit cheated.

i hesitate to speak to freely since i work there and have heard certain things, but yes, basically he was having a crappy night, and falling off the front of the stage didnt help.
 
   also, that stripper was transsexual?? weird man, she was scary onstage, but very friendly afterward.  not THAT friendly....but you know.  i guess i dont have a knack for distinguishing that kinda stuff.

i think the crowd was too old for that.  10 years ago, maybe.  that said, we had our girls behind us and an escape plan ready just in case.

What a piece of human garbage Danzig is...glad I had to work late and couldn't go. If the whole tour is based on the "playing songs of the Misfits" premise and then there's no delivery,  that's ridiculous. He deserves to get struck by a bus...oh wait, it would just pass over him while he was standing straight up...stupid gothy metalhead elf.

I'm sure she was all woman but pretty fake and foul looking nonetheless and a bad attempt to distract from the pure shittiness of Doyle's band.  And frankly I appreciated everyone sticking around to chant BULLSHIT even when it was pretty obvious that the show was over which allowed me and my date to get the hell out of the parking garage with minimal wait haha

Glad I was too poor to buy tickets.  It definitely said "playing the songs of the Misfits" on the website.

phew!  i hadn't bought tickets but i was looking forward to this for awhile now but i got out of work late and i just couldn't make the trek up to baltimore in time for the show.  i was definitely expecting a misfits set based on what was advertised.  maybe danzig didn't know about this and it was rams head that pulled the bait and switch?

after reading some reviews of the show, people who talked to some of the opening bands said danzig apparently was going to do a misfits set but when when doyle didn't show up on cue and danzig went looking for him, nobody could find him.  just a horrible night all around it looks like.  sucks that baltimore will probably be the only city left off this tour that doesn't get a misfits set.

 Anyone here check out the latest version of misfits? I heard they are good. Their gonna play at the sonar in baltimore november 30th. Too bad a certain club couldnt book them to make it a way easier trip for me.
