Anyone know anythin about McCarran Pool in NYC?

Bloc Party and Secret Machines are playing there in July and its at the McCarran Pool. Im guessing its outdoors in Mccarran Park but have no idea about the venue/acoustics and surprisingly am not having luck searching for it. I aint gonna head up there for a crappy venue. Anyone?
