Would say the same to their competitors Christmas Shows? [/b]
I've never even heard of those dc101 show bands.  I'll stay home.

And Kosmo...I'll have to check out the grip weeds.  Thanks for the tip!

Trim the list down a bit add in Splitsville, The Waxwings, The High Dials, and The Bigger Lovers, and hold it at the Warner Theater, I'd be camping out for tickets....
Kosmo did you see the high dials backstage at the Cat a while back?  Whatta great band.  Love those guys.  Great great music. [/b]
I was there.           :D

 Great show!

(Yes, I was the one that they asked was there half way through the show.       :D      )

About the Nutcracker show, I have no desire to blow that much money to see 2 bands that I have any interest in (Franz & The Killers.....     Sounds like WWI.) at a venue that I avoid at all cost. And there is no way in Hell that I will suffer through that offensive sounding crap they air to end up not even coming close to winning tickets for a show that I couldn't care less about. Shame because the West Coast shows all look good.

Would somebody please forward this thread to the head honchos of HFShit?

They don't care in the slightest.

All they will remember is that Lollapalloza was cancelled for poor ticket sales and that this will sell out for sure.

Sadly, you are so right with the worst part of that being that it will probably sell out or very close to it.

I considered going to this but in the end its the fans of Good Charlotte, etal thats keeping me away from this show.  Don't want to ruin the good memory of the FF show and Jimmy Eat World ought to be at the club soon enough.  The Killers, Keane and MCR could be worth checking out, but it's going to littered with teenagers checking out what each other bought at the mall earlier in the day.

Velvet Lounge, December 4th.  Our first show in eight months.  New line-up, new songs, new....well...everything really.  Should be fun.  The Pharmacy Prophets, Maggie Kim (down from NYC), and Chrysalis.  Links below, would be good to see you for sure.

We should be bearing the wrath at any moment.

There are talks of doing a one-time Luka get together show but I don't know if it will happen.  It would involve serious introspection and massive binge drinking and everybody is so damn busy these days.

Not sure about the other two but Skindred kicks ass...  Now if this show was at a venue where I did not have to steam clean myself before and after the show, I may actually think of attending...  :)
