for those of you that were once, or are currently part of the rave culture, or are just electronica fans, you might want to check this movie out. its a mockumentary about a beloved ibiza dj named frankie wilde. (apparently some folks actually think this dj exists!)
 
 i saw it last night in a preview. lots and lots of gratuitious drug use-with its after effects. and a big coked out badger (yes, the animal!) to boot. (if you do see, let me know if the badger reminds you of that aphex twin video "come to daddy" with all the giant dancing teddy bears. it was an eery reminder for me.) its a fun movie, good way to kill a couple hours.
 
 with the crappy weather predicted for the weekend, you just might want to metro over to e street cinema and check it out.
 
 there is a review in the style section and in the weekend section of the post. read the style section review (it wasn't online earlier, only the weekend section review was, which is crap btw).
 
 there, that's my endorsement for this weekend.

Come to daddy has teddy bears?  I have that on the Chris Cunningham DVD and it was midgets and kids with Aphex's face.  Thought the bears were another song.

Actually Come to Daddy was the freaky little kids with his face superimposed and the freaky phantom thing that comes out of the TV set...Donkey Rhubarb was the freaky teddy bears. But nothing beats Windowlicker with the freaky hoochies. Notice a trend in the Aphex Twin videos??

Both Come to Daddy and Windowlicker are on the Chris Cunningham DVD.  It is pretty cool, his best videos he has directed.  Part of a series of 3 with Michel Gondry and Spike Jones.
