wow. this crowd was shit. seriously. freebird? summer of 69? pathetic.

then ryan heckled the crowd with a megaphone and it was awesome.

my fourth time seeing him. and probably my favorite. the sound was perfect.

fairly solid, just a bit too much guitar wanking at times.

well, he was  wearing a Dead shirt.

also, it's a shame most of the posters were damaged by the merch ladies.

The crowd was terrible.  I was a bit disappointed by the show; there was nothing technically wrong with it but it just wasn't what I was hoping for.

i will be brief, but i had never been to DAR and after hearing all of the great reviews of the place, i was hoping for such good things.

That place sucked. really really bad. and it wasnt even the sound, i thought the sound was decent.

everything else about that place was awwwful:

  No drinks in the auditorium
no smoking outside while the show is on
no standing while the artist is on
  the beer lines were atrocious
bathroom lines (for my wife) just as bad
the crowd were a bunch of losers (but i expect   that from DC, sorry)
  and an 11pm curfew??

I wont ever ever go back to DAR unless Thom Yorke is onstage.

   that was fucking whack.

so bad, the show was only "ok".  Not the hugest Ryan Adams fan anyway, but after reading the Pittsburgh setlist, i was hoping for better songs.

The Sun Also Sets and Easy Plateau were easy favourites

I was there to see The Strokes last year (?) and I thought it was a good venue.  The sound was good.  It all depends on your lifestyle and whether you're an urban hipster or not.  To whit:

No drinks in the auditorium (don't drink)
no smoking outside while the show is on (don't smoke)
no standing while the artist is on (I'm tall.  I don't need to stand to see anyone and it's not like you can dance to Ryan Adams)
the beer lines were atrocious (don't drink AND you'd really pay that much for a beer?)
bathroom lines (for my wife) just as bad (go before you come to the concert.  DUH!  Unless you have to go to the bathroom because of all the alcohol you've consumed.  Then "Don't drink.")
the crowd were a bunch of losers (but i expect   that from DC, sorry)  (maybe it's not the  crowd that were the losers in this case.)
and an 11pm curfew?? (MOST venues have some sort of curfew.  You're spoiled by those that don't.)

Did they let you sneak in some pot?  Could you take pictures with your cell phone?  Did they let you smell your own farts?

Bitch, whine and complain is all some of you ever do.  Did the DAR hall infringe upon your "rights" as a concert goer?  Call the ACLU!

Re-read your complaints.  You sound like a whiny little bitch.  "Oh, I couldn't SMOKE DURING THE SHOW!"  Wah-wah-wah!  "The Beer lines were too LONG!"  Someone give "Le Sonick" his bottle!

this is so stupid, it doesnt dignify a response.

but i'm now certain that "Brian Walalace" is not some 16 year old kid, who he pretends to be.
and that makes him more of a loser than he appears in his posts.

the crowd was particularly bad.

but I thought the second set was one of the better Ryan Adams sets I've seen.
