(Sorry - maybe a repost) I wasn't fortunate enough to get through to get tix to the Smashing Pumpkins show even after trying on three browsers letting it automatically refresh after 30 seconds! Here's a little fyi from Wikipedia to all of those going to the show on Tuesday (and even for those who are not....)
"Nightclub 9:30
On January 5, 1996, after extensive remodeling, the former WUST Radio Music Hall at 815 V St. opened as the Nightclub 9:30. The opening night show included the Smashing Pumpkins."
Enjoy the show - I'll be there in spirit!

More trivia:
Pumpkins played July 10th (also July 9th) at Capital Centre, back in '96.

They also played 3 bands for 3 bucks at the old 9:30 in 1991 too.

Ava Adore tour, it was a benefit show @ DAR. I think it was in August of 99. I could be wrong. Awesome show, even though it did not feature Jimmy 'Diesel' Chamberlin on the drums. He is flawless and when he plays, it seems effortless, amazing.

The Tarantula single, is that Paris Hilton on the cover?

Yes, that is Paris Hilton on the cover. I don't get it either. The packaging for this release SUCKS! (and after SO MANY great albums!)
I camped out in front of Tower Records Fairfax all night for the Jimmy reunion 9:30 tickets (was third in line) but after all the EMPLOYEES pulled their tickets, they only had 2 for us in line. I didn't get one.
