Indigo Girls?
« on: February 11, 2005, 03:33:00 pm »
Hey all-  their site says they will perform at the 9:30 club on 3/20. Can anyone confirm? The club site does not list this gig.

 Thx,

 George

I figured this thread would be about those two chicks making out on the OC last night.

If they come, I will go.

I haven't seen them in years, but mostly because I saw them 5 or 6 times from 1990 - 1993ish...

Anyone else suspect that Bags owned every 10,000 Maniacs album?

Okay....

 - I have never owned Birkenstocks or anything close...I bought a pair of Tevas in St. John in order to go snorkeling off a very rocky beach.

 - I owned two 10,000 Maniac records and shitface's first solo album -- liked the Maniacs, but mostly it was one of the few bands my boyfriend and I both liked (Indigo Girls being another -- he was in to salsa/latin music and thought my indie stuff was crap).  I can't stand shitface -- what's her name?  Really, she bugs me to pieces.

I also owned Melissa Etheridges first two albums -- "Brave and Crazy" is a great album, so shut up.

   :D

Sorry -- I really did space on her name, but Natalie Merchant has always bugged me.  She RUINED a song she played with R.E.M. at the otherwise *stellar* show I saw at Radio City Music Hall in '88.  And her pronunciation of "peace chain" instead of peace train makes me lose my mind.

;)   She's my musical Juliette Binoche....

Yup, it is.  And I'm willing to concede that there are Pink Floyd, Grateful Dead and Rolling Stones albums that are great, but I don't like 'em.
