Aren't the Russkies considered phenomenal in hockey as it is?  I wouldn't expect the US to win against them or even Canada for that matter.

 There's alot of turmoil within the Russian hockey federation. Alot of the older players still bristle at the Victor Tikhanov regime, which is why players like Federov, Zhamnov and Khabiboulin aren't playing.
 
 Having said that, the Russians have impressed me with their speed and talent. The US team went for more of a grinding style which they thought would work on the smaller ice surface. Oooops.
 
 Anyhow, I'm taking any and all bets on the Canada/Russia game. Look for me on TV (oh, wait... y'all don't know what I look like :=)). We'll be at all the Toronto games.

Canada's gonna be hard to beat, I saw the one goal by Slovakia (?) the other night and even that was off a misplay.
