Greenbelt invaded by Peters
« on: September 03, 2004, 10:23:00 am »
First Cicadas now this...

At the annual Greenbelt Labor Day Fest for entertainment we are getting not only the return engagement of Shoe Suede Blues featuring one Peter Tork on MONDAY - SEPTEMBER 6 from Noon-3pm.  But Herman Hermit's with Peter Noone on Saturday - September 4th 1-3pm.

Kinda looking forward to seeing Mr. Noone from what I've heard the voice is still intact and he's doing a great selection of tunes, including the hits.  Although maybe be a bit Tom Jones for my tastes.

Tork's bar band puts on an interesting show of Monkee's song with blues covers in the line of Louis Jordan.

I can't believe that there's actually a paragraph in existence with the words "Peter Tork" & "Interesting".
