 All I can say is...
 
 Wow.
 
 Gus Van Sant is a feckin' genius; I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but I was most definitely blown away. It was pared down, no frills, poetry. I highly recommend that anyone see it.

 I also saw one recently, not TWS, that looked like TRON??

Actually she is talking about the feature film that was just released depicting a day in the life of several high school students and the resulting violence at their school. I really want to see it.

you should. right now. drop what you're doing and see it.
 
 i read an interview with one of the actors and he remarked that "anyone who doesn't like this movie is a person that does not want to think." that makes a lot of sense because van sant doesn't tell the audience but rather shows them. good times.

How is the Avalon theatre? I still haven't been there yet. I really do want to see the movie. It certainly caused a lot of controversy at Cannes.

it's great!!! beautiful, clean, great seats, comfortable... i will most definitely be going there any chance i get. it is so much better than the gross multiplex type movie things...  ;)
