I know some of you are working the release, but is anyone going to it for the book?  I think I am, but I've said that before...

I'm considering going for the book.  I finally sat down and read the series a couple weeks after the release of the sixth book, so this is the first time I've been excited about one of them coming out.  And since it's the last one, this is also the only chance I'll ever have to see some of the insanity of release night.

Want to hear a rather pathetic thought that's occured to me?  With my hair the way it is right now, I could probably make a decent Snape (a la Alan Rickman, at least).  But I don't think there's any chance in hell of me actually doing it. >_>

I'm going for the book.  A large part of me is hoping Harry dies.
Has anyone seen the movie yet?

I saw the movie on Wednesday at the Senator in B'more (a really great place to see it) and thought it was really good.  The 5th book is my favorite, and I thought they did a good job of cutting out the crap.  Harry is lookin' a little old now though, so I hope they film the other ones soon.

I saw it Wednesday, don't know why. 3rd and 4th are the best movies, this one was borederline boring if it wasnt for some parts.

I sincerely hope Harry dies in the 7th book. Voldemort can't keep losing.

I'm hoping they finally get it on, replace the current Hemione with Lindsay Lohan and go for an R rating with the last movie.

My bet is that Snape dies to save Harry.

Did anyone else listen to Diane Rehm this morning?

I don't understand what you all mean by "working". Are some of you in the industry or promotions? Or is there some free help Harry Potter fan club being had?

my definition of working is that i'm a newspaper reporter... so i actually have a fun assignment -talking to the kiddies and the (sometimes) creepy adults who get way too into it as they wait for the book at the bookstore parties.
