Sleater-Kinney albums should be acquired in this order:

 One Beat
 Dig Me Out
All Hands on the Bad One

And bands between Lilith Fair and Bikini Kill, okay, let's see (you'll note some of the bands I can think of are from the 90s -- I'd love input from anyone else):

 Dressy Bessy
 Tegan and Sara
 that dog (and/or Anna Waronker)
 Elastica
 Fastbacks
 Mary Prankster
 Velocity Girl

Ivy is a little Lilith, but so wonderful -- "Apartment Life."

Yup, I have Pretty Girls...do you like that?  Saw their show back in Oct.  Funny, I can't remember it all that well, but I liked them.

 I don't know Forget Cassettes.

Do you have the album?

How is the whole album vs the single (Ms Rhythm and Blues)?

Two cents:

 1.  Le Tigre rock.  But please, for the love of god, don't go to the show unless you love to dance.

 2.  One Beat (and the subsequent show I caught at the Hammerstein in NY) = fantastic.  One of the better nights of music I've ever seen.  They encored with a cover of Fortunate Son that maybe topped the CCR original (whoa).

 Sorry, third cent:

Out Hud, who're opening the Le Tigre show, are the best dance-punk band on the planet.  You will get down.

i think the single is a good representation, some of the songs are a little more instrumentally driven though, especially the title track which goes on for nearly 7 minutes and is clearly the best song on the Cd.
I had to order it special, but if you see it in a store, defintely give it a whirl.

Juliana Hatfiled's little spine would splinter with one of Janet's snares.  Bags are you going to be wearing the telltale tee?  we could get down together.
