 Jewel has canceled her entire tour plans in the wake of her bassist's death. Terome "T-Bone" Hannon was set to accompany Jewel and company as they launched the trek this week, when he died unexpectedly.
  Hannon passed away September 4 in Detroit after suffering a stroke at age 39. He had been a member in Jewel's band for three years.
  "T-Bone was a phenomenal player and we all loved him," Jewel said. "We are all just in shock and hurt."
  The tour was expected to launch September 19 in Charleston, S.C. Plans are underway for Jewel to perform select solo acoustic shows. Details on that are forthcoming.

i guess Jewel is still playing at 930 on 9/22. She will be doing an acoustic show instead. Probably will be much better than the crap she probably had planned!
