 Not your kissin'cousin's alt-country record

This record from Brandt Huseman (Splistville and Greenberry Woods) and co only gets better and better with repeated listens.  The songs are create on a bedrock of Americana with splashes of Power Pop and effects laden guitar to set them apart from the alt-country herd.  Would have easily been a 10 top favorite record of 2005 had it been released earlier in the year.

Now don't make me call out those of you who should have already bought, listen and setup a shrine to this record.  Or resort to bribery AGAIN...

I rather liked Greenberry Woods back in the day, so I'll give them a shot. "Everything's Wrong" and "Weekend Lakes" are both good tracks.

Unfortunately, The Pale Stars wouldn't tour with us.  We're stuck doing the Flipside Festival, and maybe a few dates on the Warped Tour.

I prefer Red Berry Joy Town, myself.
