Dot Allison - Afterglow
Joseph Arthur - Come To Where I'm From
 Joseph Arthur - Redemption's Son
British Sea Power - The Decline Of British Sea Power

And a whole lot more but couldn't afford. All of the above are excellent albums! Would have to say the 2 very best are Dot Allison and Joseph Arthur's CTWIF of which I highly recommend.

Wow, Jag and I agree on something musically for once!
I have Athur's CTWIF, picked it up for $1. A nice find. Not my favorite cd, but defintely a good one.

See, it's got to be good if we both agree on it.    ;)   Has Igor's endorsement too. Rhett, you got the best deal though! I was just happy to find it and it's in excellent condition with an elaborate digipak case and booklet.

Man, though, it's hard to look through the CDS that are up high or near the ground.  It kind of makes me crazy, so I end up going to DCCD and spending more money, but feeling less frustrated.

joseph arthur is good live too. i saw him open for tracy chapman this summer, too bad he only got to play for less than 30 mins. i wish i had seen him at his shows every 2 weeks at the metro cafe back in may-june 1999.

Wish I would have seen him at Fletcher's last year. Forget why I had to miss that show. I've seen him a couple times on the late night talk shows and was surprised at the full sound he got for just one or two guys.

I saw a Buzzcocks cd (import) at Cd Cellar for $7.99, marked "bargain price", not in the import section...if anyone is interested in shopping.

was just in san fran this week and all I can say is wow - went to Amoeba and Rasputin and went a little nuts - I think I dropped about $200 on a ton of CDs - all second hand - the ones I can remember are

 Grant McLennan - Horsebreaker star
 Shane McGowan - The Snake
 Cinerama - Holiday
 New Waterboys album
 new Pernice Bros
Ed Harcourt - here be monsters
 Robert Forster solo album
 The Coral
 2 Black Box Recorder albums
A Calexico album (not the new one)
 Clearlake - Cedars
 South - the new one

and a couple more I can't remember - Rasputin is a really good store but Amoeba in SF is absolutely out of this world - I thought I'd died and gone to heaven.......
