The Pietasters Jan 7th?

I heard that The Slackers and the Pietasters will be playing a show on January 7th.  Has anyone else heard this information? I surely hope it is true because Pietasters are my favorite local band now that The Shakedowns are gone. It happens to be my 18th birthday that day! So I would appreciate any word=-p

I'm not sure about the show on the 7th, but they are playing in Baltimore on December 23rd, and in Charlottesville on February 24th.  Both are a bit of a hike if you are from up there, but maybe worth it.  You could also just go knock on their door on kansas street and ask about the show. They probly know when they are playing.

Nah they're nice fellas......but I thought that house on Kansas street got ripped down?

No I know about their other shows. I am seeing them in marshall on dec 16th but i'll be in cancun when they are playing at the Ottobar with the Stabones.  I just really want them to play on my 18th birthday because that would be amazing.
 
 and yeah they wouldn't care at all. i love chilling with pie. they are super nice and buy me pizza and drinks and we have a good ole time. thought toby is always so wasted so he is always incoherent and forgets who I am.  I love jorge and steve. =-)

What is the Volume Newsletter?  And does this mean that it is actually happening and the 930 Club website it just a tidbit out of date?
