One doesn't know what they are talking about comparing the television atrocity that is the Grammys with "Arrested Development."
Well, you won't have to worry about watching "Arrested Development" for too much longer. As David Cross said the other night on the Jimmy Kimmel show, production has been halted! He said he found out on the internet of all places."Why call me,I'm only a cast member" he remarked. He predicted that the wonderful Fox network would replace the show with an "actual reality show starring real retards" possibly a dating show......who knows?....America,enjoy your "Still Standing","Yes,Dear" and "Everybody Loves Raymond",you deserve it......

well, P Diddy and Hammer are nothing alike in my opinion.  Hammer was pretty talentless and relied on silly outfits and catchy videos/songs to gain popularity. P Diddy was a producer that decided to step out and make a record. he's a great producer, bad singer/rapper.  same with Pharell Williams.

imagine if Bob Rock or Nigel Godrich tried to make a CD

i have never heard Kanye West, but his name is lame as all get out, and he's probably just a lot of hype....hence Rhetts Hammer comparison....
We could argue about him being a "great" producer.

Kanye West was also a producer before he put out his debut album.  He's different in that he balances the line between Top 10 hip-hop (Jay-Z, Ludacris) and some of the less mainstream artists like Talib Kweli and Mos Def.

He's not the best Rapper on the Mic lyrically, but his production is top notch and he's got good flow. [/b]
[/b]
Yes he can sing...though not very well.

I don't know what equipment he uses in the studio.  I'd imagine a couple of sequencers, possibly some software like Reason or Cuebase, a synthesizer, and a drum machine, but I'm not sure.

here's an article about arrested development. apparently it's not canceled, but they cut back from 22 episodes to 18, and it won't be on during may sweeps, giving way to the latest crock of shit from the family guy dude.

It's THAT shite is it?

Seriously.....I never got the humour in Seinfeld, Friends or the Simpsons. South Park is hilarious if you're in the mood, but even it gets old sometimes.

I'm still not over the novelty of being able to watch Black Adder, Royle Family, Only Fools and Horses, The Office and Porridge on UKTV Gold to watch anything current, although the one glimpse I saw of Arrested Development looked pretty funny.

I thought he did something on the New Danger.  I know Mos appeared on College Dropout for one of the tracks.

I guess you bastards over there get the first crack at the new Gervais/Merchant series and I'll have to wait for it a year later on BBC America! Dammit! At least one reason to "love the limeys"......  :p

What will poor, old Rod Stewart have to do NOW in order to win a statuette?

Speaking of arrested development...I got this in my mailbox this morning.  Apparently, there's talk over at Fox to replace AD with Seth MacFarlane's new show "American Dad" on May 1st.

  Save Arrested Development Petition

finally, you see my point. i thought you'd never get it.

oh, and its not the most brainless show all by itself...its tied with DOZENS of other programs.

but trust me, South Park is terribly terribly brainless.  good entertainment for adolescent boys though i guess.

oh, i am sorry. i suppose i needed to be more clear.

when i stated that i only watch Law and Order and ESPN , i didnt really mean that i have never seen another television program.  you dimwit.

oh, I've seen South Park, Everybody Loves Raymond, American Choppers, BET, that asian show in Spike TV, whatever.

how many times do i need to watch something before i can decide its brainless?  for South Park, its once, though, trust me, I've sat through MANY more episodes than 1 in my life.

like i said, adolescent.  nothing wrong with that really. if you still play with GI Joes.

I've seen them, they're brainless.  i dont watch em.
