Does GM now mean "Green Motors"?

LOS ANGELES--General Motors is already developing a slew of cars that will run on alternative fuels such as electricity, hydrogen, or green liquids like ethanol. But don't count on an all-electric car anytime soon from the auto giant.

 ---------------------------

Is it too little too late to compete with Japan, or did I just post this so Venerable can remind me how much Ethanol fuel really costs the American consumer?  Probably both....either way, I'm driving an Equinox over the holidays and will report back.

That's not the Brussels I was reffering to (the EU part, not the Belgian part), but, the one thing they do care about in Belgium - the language.

Why does Belgium even exist?  It was created as an independent country simply to keep the French, Dutch and Germans from fighting over the land.  They've gone nearly 200 days without a government and the sole reason why is because the Flemish majority want to end bi-lingual rights in mostly northern Dutch neighborhoods for French Speakers (in clear violation of a pact).  But here's the best part - nobody cares that they have no government!

Everybody (except maybe the King) would be happier if the Dutch portion were given to the Netherlands, the small German portion to Germany, the French portion to France and Brussels and the Hague made into international protectorates and head States of Europe.

That being said, when I get around to writing my manifesto, there's no doubt I'm doing it in a drunken binge in the Grand Place.

If that's the best looking chick in Belgium, then they definitely have a big problem.

Nice - Pakistan can do it but America can't find enough "interest" - it's clear the terrorists have already won.  And we don't even want to catch up.

Thanks for sharing.  Now I won't be able to sleep tonight, however, knowing that on my phone I get 700kbps anywhere I get coverage, my laptop's got 1MBps within 100 feet of my router, my non-mobile desktop about the for as long as my wires can go, but Al Qaeda's got 2mbps on any device within 2.5 miles of their f'in cave.

I would just like to request that everyone respect Jamie's and my privacy during this emotional time. A bad situation will only be made worse for everyone if people continue to hound us about our mistakes.

 Thanks, Julian

Thanks for posting that. I don't know how I would have heard about it otherwise.   ;)
