First piece of advice: Don't get suckered into these:

(1) They are about $200-$300 more than the current HDTV, when the set-top boxes that do the same are around $100 now and falling quickly (not to mention that the software has already been added to existing set-top boxes like the Xbox 360), and...
(2) The technology to stream Video is moving so fast right now (as is network capability) that they have about a 2.5 year life cycle. You can only do so many firmware upgrades before you need a new chip to keep up with existing technology. Had they done this two years ago, you'd have gotten a ViiV chip and wireless G network speeds. Think of where you'd be today with that, let alone two years from now? You'll replace the set-top box long before you replace the TV...
So Smackie's advice, buy the less expensive HDTV, use the money you saved on a set-top box that does the same and 3 years from now, upgrade the box to the newest and greatest thing I recommend with the rest of the money you saved.
