my bad, the economist had the article on their facebook page yesterday

I hide the Economist from my newsfeed much like I do with sports scores so as to not ruin the result for me until I get to each section every week.

it's in this week's newspaper (and the audio version)

She was extra saucy with that one.  I nearly had to pull off the road to relieve the sexual tension.  It was palpable.

things sweetcell thinks smackie needs to see: http://www.killsometime.com/videos/9286/Hula-Cam-at-Burning-Man-2012 (NSFW, but not horribly so.  personally i think this is beautiful, and i suspect smackie will appreciate the entrepreneurship of the video's author - what a great way to get hotties to perform for free for you... and what a view!)

Simply brilliant.  I'm amazed at the resolution and clarity moving at that speed.  Makes me wish I could tolerate everything else that happens at Burning Man again...

I'm not sold on this boycott the NFL thing, but I'm certainly not going to gamble on anymore games until this strike is over. It makes shootin' craps look easy.

hey smakie,

were you in oakland on sunday?  just wondering if you were at the game... no reason.

and regarding:

i'm seriously questioning whether or not i want to watch any more games.  too frustrating.

But hearing 70K Ravens fans chant "BULLSHIT!" on live TV was a beautiful thing.

that was pretty epic.  i came really close to snagging some tickets and going to the game, that chant convinced me i had made the wrong decision (despite the pats loss).

No way.  I do not go to Raiders games where I will be actively rooting for the other team.  I watched a Steeler fan nearly die just for wearing a yellow t-shirt at the Coliseum in LA back in the early 90's, left long before the game was over, and swore I'd never attend a road Steelers-Raiders game again.

I've been to one Raiders game in the 10 years I've been here and I had absolutely no rooting interest and comped tickets in the teams section of the visiting team.

damn.

to be fair, 2 first rounders panning out to be critical pieces so quick is more than most teams can ask for.

I'm still not sure which was worse for men:

Tiger getting every woman looking at their man's texts;

Or Romney getting every woman to ask to see their binders full of women.

Who's side are these guys on?

I'm not sure I can defend a relief pitcher in the first round, but he did have a great season.

Wrong, wrong wrong. I've been on the receiving end of some artless and many artful lap dances. Usually the amount of Xanax is the deciding factor:

NY Court Rules Lap Dances Not Art, taxable
