It's too early, but he's legit. He tore up Spring Training, but I wasn't surprised the Dodgers sent him down. He, like Kemp, has a ton of natural ability, but lacks an understanding of the game and makes simple mistakes, both on the base paths and in the field.
The huge thing about Puig is he's a free swinger - didn't walk a single time this spring. As soon as pitchers stop throwing him strikes, which they will do now that he's shown his power, it will be interesting to see how adjusts.
He's got all the tools, but needs to work on his game smarts. He's too flashy for me to root for, but he's fun to watch.
