Erdogan is reported on a plane outside of Turkish airspace and not "captured." Going to be interesting to see if Germany lets him land and who acknowledges which government when.

I think social media changed things... when the president went on facetime or whatever on facebook and asked people to take to the airport and i don't remember what else (TV channel?) and he basically said he was still the president... man that's just a whole new thing.. in the old days you would see the tanks in the street and be like "oh well, guess its a done deal"... and you'd think the president might be dead or something...
