BRIAN WALLACE PERSONAL THREAD
« on: April 04, 2008, 12:04:00 pm »
Hey Brian,

Why not use this thread to post all your comments degrading everyone else's musical tastes and preach the gospel according to Brian Wallace about such rock Gods as Good Charlotte or whoever it is that makes your little pee-pee hard.

That way we can just ignore this thread totally and you can get off on having your own personal slag-blog.

Oh yes he will....he'll start his own Fall Out Boy blog about how FOB fans are far superior and have much higher IQ's than all other human beings...it's all in his ego.

I like to think of Brian Walalce as a precocious 12-year old girl and I like to think that he/she will eventually find books and art and a semester in Florence and a life in the city and a nice companion and the obnoxiouness and insecurity will be gone and replaced.

Unfortunately, the reality is closer to a 'communist' revolutionary  who seeks to destroy religion and the free market in order to serve his own ill-conceived will to power.  He promises freedom and delivers only treachery.  The people know that at 2 am in a dark old bar 'What Goes On' is undeniable!

I think Brian is much more entertaining than most of you idiots.   :p   Clearly some of you are jealous.

fair enough, but then again you think the Old 97's are entertaining too, so there you go...   (says the guy who likes jamiroquai  :p )    seriously tho, might have been entertaining once upon at time but it's gotten old and he can't be serious.  it's the lying that hurts.

i still hold that brian IS dupek.

you'll remember that dupek was a button-pusher: he got off by pissing off other people, getting them worked up, pushing them over the edge.  racism and immigration were his favorite subjects, along with scatology, but those eventually got him kicked off this board.  so he came limping back and is now attacking something safer (or attempting to), but no less infuriating to many boardees: the pantheon of classic and indie rock.

this theory was on the back burner for the past while, but the tone of brian's  recent apology sounded like someone who was afraid of being punished.  seemed like he was over-apologizing.

i realize this wouldn't hold up in court.

Dupek didn't have nearly the music knowledge Brian does. Though he probably had better taste.

Ah, I swore I wouldn't be goaded into this thread but that's what amazes me.  What aren't I serious about?  What am I lying about?  There are outrageous claims on this message board that are completely unquestioned but I say R.E.M. are pathetic and have been for quite some time and I'm an obvious "liar"?  Saying My Chemical Romance is a good band and the Beatles were a bad one is such an  outrageous statement that it CAN'T be serious?

what we think you are lying about is that, if you dont remember, when you began posting you were a high school aged guy who loved MCR and Fall Out Boy and hated classic rock.   But since then you have proven to be a much older person, with a vast knowledge of Britpop, classic rock and current music.

Is it possible for someone in their 30s to love these pop-punk bands?  sure.  but thats not who you were in the beginning and if you're lying about that....who knows what else isnt true.

also, you have some surprising similarities to the old board idiot who was banned....shortly before you began posting. of course, charlie is right, you seem to know much more about music than he did.

of course, the internet is a good resource of knowledge.

I think some of the things some of you  ASSUME about me may be wrong but I've never lied about anything.  I don't need to.

i'm confident that BW is no Dupek if only for the reason that the most "contemporary" bands that the man, with more aliases than Mankie and Julian, listened to was the Polysics and The Dead Milkman.   He was all about the "nostalgia".  He was also hugely into groups like the Slickee Boys, Wall of Voodoo, Devo, Kraftwerk, Music from John Carpenter films, etc

Besides Dupek never ranted on about music the way BW , what appeared to set him off was related to what was going on at work.

And yes I've done a reverse lookup on IPs addresses, etc...
