as far as i can remember, there are some cabs out there...i (used) to typically walk there. also, might i suggest the argonaut if you need something to do before or after the show. very walkable, it's up on the corner of h and maryland. big, green building - can't miss it. the staff are super nice and if they have the upstairs open you can play fooseball and pac-man. or maybe i'm just a sucker for a pirate bar.
plus, the booty beer is delish too.
nothx

You're going to be battling others for cabs out there.

easier to hop a bus or walk the 15 or so blocks to union station than to get a cab after a show there.

they have the shuttle bus after gigs for free that take you to union station. where it is much easier to get a cab.

And I've never had a friend catch this shuttle of which they speak...  The cab issue is the problem with the area.  I drive during the week.

All you have to to is ask a staff member and they can call the shuttle for you or give you the number.  The driver is nice and usually can get to you within 15 minutes
