on a side note, the new Primal Scream sucks too.  But I will probably be in the minority with my views, since I loved the direction they took with Exterminator and Evil Heat....this one is more 'back to their roots' i guess.

doesn't look like kevin shields helped out at all on this one

As always 9:30 policy is that refunds are only offered when a show is cancelled. When a show is rescheduled we honor all tickets to the original date.

Aren't you required to offer refunds if the date changes?  I mean, if you buy a ticket for a show for a specific date, and that show doesn't take place, how can you not offer a refund?

 FWIW - I don't have tickets for this - I'm just curious.

No. We are not required to offer refunds to shows that are rescheduled. Venue's set their own ticketing policies and our refund policy is that we only offer refunds if a show is cancelled.

Oh, I don't know.  I thought maybe there was some obscure law that said if the date of an event changed, a refund had to be an option.  Sort of a ticket-as-contract thing.  The contract changes, so you have the option to bail.  It seems a common enough practice that I thought it might be required.  I guess not.

Shadrach answered my question, though I'm kind of surprised that's the official policy.

that's a horrible policy, especially since most of these shows sell out. i recognize the challenge of reselling refunded tickets, particularly since you don't know how many people will want refunds, but this still completely screws me.

Any word on when the new dates are. It's tough to CL my tickets without a date.
