Regarding Coachella

I got this message from Goldenvoice, the promotions company who is in charge of Coachella today.
 
 it has not been officially announced and until it is announced its not 100%
 
 My message to them:
 Have the dates been officially announced?  Everyone on this coast thinks they know when the dates are b/c some hotel is saying it's April 30-May 2nd?  Is this true?

I'm not saying those are the dates, but that is the standard response you would get regarding almost any question you asked them. If it's not on their site, they are gonna either deny it or say wait till it's on the site to be 100% sure. I wouldn't buy a plane ticket yet either. That sonick seems like a shady character to me... how could he know about such things?

     Redsock is right, Goldenvoice isnt going to answer emails from people with information they are not ready to publicly deliver.
 
     
     K8teebug...I never told anyone to buy a plane ticket.  I was referring entirely to hotel reservations.  As these are the quickest to get booked and as soon as dates are leaked they closest ones fill.  And since you can cancel your reservation at no charge almost til the day of, why not book now.
 
    As for all of you squareheads....I do know a performer who is playing at the show and that is the date he was told.

I said that....not a hotel.  I am not affiliated with any hotels, nor did i ever see any hotel site saying that these were the dates...
