George Michael arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs after cops find him slumped at wheel?
George Michael has been arrested after cops found him slumped at the wheel of his Range Rover in London??s West End.
The 42-year-old was reported to police in the early hours of Saturday morning by a passer by who spotted him in the stationary car near Hyde Park corner. And when police searched the car they found quantities of what they suspected to be cannabis. He was initially arrested on suspicion of being unfit to drive, but after a doctor tested him he was given the all-clear.
??We were called by a member of the public to a man seen slumped over the steering wheel of a car on the street close to Hyde Park Corner,? a police spokesman said. ??A search of the car revealed what was believed to be controlled substances.?
George has been bailed to return to West End Central Police Station next month.
