This weekend

Seems to be lots to do....
 
 Friday I have Art-O-Matic penciled in.  It's dance night at the Cat and I can't dance for shit so that's out for me.  I have heard mixed reviews about Blonde Redhead (9:30) but unless something fantastical comes up otherwise it's Art-O-Matic for me.
 
 For truth in advertising I'm playing at the Velvet Lounge on Saturday.  I would like to see Mould at the Birchmere but alas, I am but one person.  Other stuff I know of for Saturday is Eagles of Death Metal at the Cat and a dance night at DC9.
 
 So what's everybody else up to?  If you want info about the VL show, ask and I will tell.

Is Mould acoustic at the Birchmere?  He was great electric at the 9:30 Thanksgiving.

I believe he will be playing acoustic on Saturday although that is just conjecture.
 
 Honestly I have no idea.

Don't assume Mould is acoustic.  Last time he was at the Birchmere, he was solo but he did both acoustic and electric, and it was fantastic.
 
 I'll be in NYC for the Saturday GBV show -- perhaps I'll see pollard if I float up near the front sometime during the marathon.

NYE...in hindsight, I wish I had bought tix for the 30th too.  oh well.  i'll save myself for the 31st. where are you staying in chicago?
