ACL on PBS
« on: December 01, 2004, 01:39:00 pm »
According to www.rockontv.com shows from ACL will be aired:

12/04/04 09:00 pm ET PBS Austin City Limits John Fogerty
12/11/04 09:00 pm ET PBS Austin City Limits Ben Kweller, Spoon
12/18/04 09:00 pm ET PBS Austin City Limits The Flaming Lips, The Shins
12/25/04 09:00 pm ET PBS Austin City Limits Vince Gill

Okay, so some of you might not want to know about Vince Gill, but Fogerty, Spoon, FL, Shins and Kweller should be interesting.

Actually, my local PBS is not showing them (San Francsico).

I set a season pass so if they change their mind, I should get them.

Yeah, MDPT doesn't show ACL as often as it used to.  They would rather show another 60's R&B over the hill reunion, or more Lawrence Welk shit.

It's a damn shame because over the past two years, I've received emails from a lot of band websites saying that they were going to be on ACL, and then I got to check the schedule and the show may be scheduled once a month total on MDPT.

They've started playing them in my area last week.

I saw Trey Anastasio this weekend and have Modest Mouse set for this week.

Time to check your listings again.

Can't I take a poke at Pollard without you stepping in everytime?

You guys really need to decide who's the pitcher and who's the catcher in this "lackey" relationship you've got going on.
