Rumor was the Hatfield and Buckley were dating around that time.  Buckley also opened for her on tour that year.

I heard much the same thing. She wrote "Trying Not To Think About It" from the EP Please Do Not Disturb about Buckley's death.

I'll hope against all hope that amongst the old songs are some gems from God's Foot. I *love* "Cant Put Your Arms Around a Melody" and "What Have I Done To You". I think that whole era was her most creative. At least it's the stuff I like the best, FWIW.

Canuck,

I don't know if any other God's Foot songs will see the light of day.  Supposedly, she has said that they have a ton of songs she has recorded that won't be released formally and this would be a good way for them to see the light of day.

"Stupid Thing" is a good example.  It was recorded around the Beautiful Creatures recordings with Andy Chase of Ivy producing and playing added guitar.  It is a great song, but it only appeared on some promo.  that was not released to the public.

BTW, she has a album ready to go for eraly next year and is ready to record the next Some Girls material sometime after she is finished with the tour.
