Question for those of you who may be in the know - Is this show even close to selling out?  I had planned on just getting tickets at the door tomorrow night......You think this is a pretty safe bet?

Last week's weekly 9:30 e-mail included a 2 for 1 coupon for the show, which would indicate that there are a lot of tickets left.

Yikes!  How do I get on this e-mail list?  Can someone hook me up with the coupon by PM'ing me or whatever?  I've never done the PM thing.....

I'm going.  It'll be my first complete (hopefully) Bad Brains complete  show since 89 or 90.
 
 I saw them in Philly in 95 or so, but HR had some sort of a meltdown that night and they only played about 3 songs before they left the stage.

I'm looking forward to it too.  Could be hit or miss i suppose.  I've been looking online for info/reviews on this latest string of shows and have found zippy.  
 
 Anyone around here seen them in the past year or two?  How was it?

I saw them last time they played 930, a couple of years ago.  Good show.  1st half was hardcore, 2nd half was reggae.  It was kind of cool to have the show broken up that way.

The Astralwerks newsletter said they played a lot of Bad Brains stuff in NYC? Not sure how reliable that is.

I would love to have gone but I'm missing it as I type. It's a bitch living so far away and having to be responsible once in awhile.

The opening band - Murphy's Law - was one of the worst acts I've ever seen.  And I generally like mindless punk.
 
 Soul Brains came on 45 minutes late.  The sound wasn't great.  My watch got broken.  My shirt got ripped.  My ankle got bloodied.  Some dude fell on my head at the end of the show.
 
 Nonetheless, I had an excellent time.  Maybe not top of the list of shows this year, but it was just great hearing some old Bad Brains stuff and watching HR.
 
 Anybody know what's in his bag?
