According to this site -     http://www.weightchart.org/     - you are way above your ideal weight range. [/b]
poormankie hurts himself and then you go and do that. You heartless bastard. Kicking a man whist he is down. [/b]
I was expecting someone to pass the idiot test when I put my ht/wt up there...I thought it would be either Rhett or GGW and GGW came through for me, thanks man, I knew I could count on you. I obviously don't give a toss though or I wouldn't have posted it...but I will say I ran a marathon weighing 190lbs so you can shove your chart up your arse as far as I'm concerned....Healthy and fitness are more important to me than some anorexic encouraging chart.

As for the height, again I don't really care but they may very well round up or down so I could be 5' 9 5/8"...does it really matter though?

I did the wrist in falling off my bike on Sunday...went round a corner pretty fast and hit some wet leaves. That's twice in three weeks I've gone down with the damn thing...training wheels will probably be under the tree for me this chrimbo!

BTW...it's 'effing pissing it down out here in Dulles. [/b]

Think of all the opportunities this poll would give you for pimping your girlfriend's band. [/b]
True, but I don't need to fill out the poll to say:
CHECK OUT  Exit Clov at Staccato in Adams Morgan this Saturday, November 22 at 1200!!!!!!

I mean, I could say that anytime.

If its a Mountain bike, buy slicks for it, if its a road bike, just slow down for wet corners.

Nothings going to help a lot if you hit wet leaves on a corner though.
Mountain with knobbly tires, riding asphalt for the most part.  Both times I went down was thanks to wet leaves...the little bastards.

Will get myself a road bike in time for the spring.

I looked at tires yesterday but the salesperson knew less than I did! What would you recommend??

I am a bit out of the loop on the current technology, but continetal used to make the very best road tyres for mountain bike rims. I always liked them. If you get them and your mountain bike is good, you dont really need a road bike.

Proper road tyres are much better for cornering, they have a lot more grip, but its probably harder to feel the limit of adhesion as easily as the big knobblies.

I used these before.....

I didnt have any problems with them, but I never used them in the really wet. There are probably better tyres for the really wet.

Oh, don't mind me I'm just being facetious.  As far as I recall, there wasn't a great difference between the two.
