Back when I was on hfstival.com, we flooded hanson's messageboard and pretended we were from goodcharlotte.com. In all the years of our flooding other messageboards, they were the only messageboard that ever retaliated. They flooded the goodcharlotte.com messageboard so badly that the webmaster actually shut it down.
 
 I guess the moral of my story is that we should expect as many crap threads as we had for Incubus or Smashing Pumpkins.

i will say that i am very excited for hanson!
 
 i chose to see the smashing pumpkins instead of hanson about 9 years ago when i was in 4th grade, so it's pretty funny i am seeing both this summer.

This reminded me of when you first came over to the board from HFStival and threatened to sue us because somebody (I'm going with GGW, but my mind is fuzzy on it) posted a picture of you as you were espewing some crap about the glory of HFS.  I'm pretty sure it's gone, but that thread was glorious.  Ah, you've come a long way...

HA, Julian, I forgot you were one of the HFStival.com roustabouts!  You caused some problems over here (or stoked them if someone else started them).  So funny just thinking about how defensive folks on a board can get....  We've gotten in to those squabbles with DCist, I do believe (but that presale password issues is valid, in my view!).

I have never threatened to sue anyone in my life nor have I ever heard the station WHFS so I doubt I was ever rambling on about the glory of it. I'm recall something like that from OTHER PEOPLE on there, but it was not me personally, nor did I particularly agree with their views on those specific subjects.
 
 EDIT: I now recall that this was a kid named Mickey who goes by the handle of Grimace.

It was never my or anyone's intention to start trouble here, our beef was with Bigyawn. I'm not going to rehash the whole incident and particulars because I'm sure no one cares, but I apoligize if 930.com became the, uh, neutral ground with which that battle took place.
 
 And it's all cool, I'm down with Eric and his site, we made peace and heck I wrote reviews for him for a year, so all's well that ends well.
