Myra, you could hoof it to Hamilton, Ontario.  It's not far from Buffalo, NY.

Aw
Well he was supposed to announce a US tour...it was supposed to be in May

I keep hoping the lineup announcement for the Virgin Festival is a lame April Fool's joke.

Aww, poor Seth.  I think actually this year's version may appeal to the average punter more than last year's.  For the 21-year old frat boy, the V-fest line-up is a dream.  Jack Johnson?  Kanye West?  What's the over/under on the ammount of Chapelle show references spouted on V-fest weekend?  One million?  One billion?  Average rock fan loves the Foos.  And you have one band that most rock fans haven't seen in a while (STP) and one that does well in festival settings and is very aggro (NIN.)  So, from a financial standpoint (and let's face it, in this economy, you have to look at bottom line) this may be a more successful festival than last year's even with the competition.  Heck, Glastonbury isn't selling well this year due to Jay-Z.  And I think Jay-Z is little more rare than Kanye West.

what are you talking about? they are in calgary on 4/16 and vancouver on 4/18. i see no reason why they can't use mac mccaughan's personal charter plane to come to d.c. on 4/17 to make up the show. it would be stupid NOT to do it.

They could tack something on between 5/4 and 5/9. And look...RNRH has 5/5-5/7 open.

5/4 is the last US date in Buffalo, NY.

5/5 and 5/6 are possible dates.

They probably have plane tickets leaving from NY though, for the European tour (starts on 5/9).

Yeah it's possible but I can see how it'd be difficult.
Fuck Buttons are also playing a date in NYC at the Mercury Lounge on 5/5.
