In 1976, The Slickee Boys released their first EP, "Hot and Cool," an event documented by members of the new wave community as the third punk/new wave record ever recorded. Founding members Marshall Keith and Kim Kane, along with long-time members Mark Noone, Dan Palenski, and Mike Maxwell perform at Strathmore.
CONCERTS ARE FREE and take place outside at the Gudelsky Concert Pavilion at Strathmore. Please, no dogs allowed and bring a blanket or low beach chair. Food is available for purchase on-site from Oâ??Brienâ??s BBQ and Ben & Jerryâ??s. Patrons are encouraged to take Metro to the Grosvenor-Strathmore station on the Red Line. Parking is available for a fee at the Grosvenor-Strathmore Metro garage and along Tuckerman Lane. Accessible parking is available on-site on a space available basis.
