I'm not a blues fan, but this seems like a huge show for Iota.
Wow! I saw Buddy Guy at the Edinburgh playhouse..... about a 3000 person venue.

QOTSA had their own presale a few days ago, which seemed to generate a lot of interest.  I don't know if it's still going on, but the password was "sheep".

I probably need to ask this in the QOTSA thread, but where was the pre-sale? Was 9;30 included? I am signed up for the mail list but I've never rec'd one email from them.

The pre-sale is/was through MusicToday.com. I didn't receive an e-mail from the QOTSA mailing list, either, but fortunately, I have friends who are just as rabid about the band as I am.  :)  QOTSA fans are fuckin' great.

Well it is always awful  :D

Actually most of the time you couldn't hear Marks guitar or vocals anyhow. Hopefully they will have just got tighter and better. The last few time I have heard them though their sound has gotten worse, more murky. Hopefully they will get that sorted out.

...AYWKUBTTOTD has been getting so much press lately, even in mainstream sources like Entertainment Weekly as well as late night show gigs (Letterman, etc.).  I'm really surprised they're playing the Black Cat instead of the 9:30.
