that's so damn rude of Billy ... I mean, really guys, why should you ever rant about mainstream sludge?  Can't we all just get along?  Do we really have to stoop to that level?!

I would decide if I were going to a festival based on what else there is to do in the area. Washington State interests me. The desert of CA does not. I think we had that conversation last year?

As it is, I'll be in Napa and Sonoma tasting wines on Memorial Day weekend, then off to Yosemite for some hiking on Monday.

And studying for my final exam the weekend of coachella.

you'd really decide on which festival to go based on an avg high temperature.....sad.
While I think the guy is a douche as well, he didn't say anything about one festival being better then the other because of weather just that one was a "more pleasent environment" because of the weather difference. [/b]

Yes.  90 = hot, a bit unpleasant.  106 = the woman standing next to you in line collapsing from heat stroke.

So, like I said, go to the Sasquatch Festival. Better bands, prettier country, better weather.

Nope just got one. Reduce your amount to '1' ticket. Sorry for the thread hijack.

So what.

I did the rim to river to rim, non-stop in under eight hours. That's 20+ miles, 10,000 feet of total elevation gain/loss.  It was July, AND, I probably smoked half-a-pack along the way.

 wuss...

Did you have a 35 pound pack on your back and have to hike most of the uphill with a numb arm due to a scorpion sting, and have to comfort a freaked out scorpion bit wife and without any sleep due to laying on a picnic table all night like I did?

 I didn't think so.

lineup half sucks....ampitheatre shows are kinda weak, and it will probably rain.
