Anyone check out Jammin Java's schedule lately? Peter Tork from the Monkees is playing there...haha
Teitur is a great musician 1/22.

I saw Evan Dando scheduled elsewhere too - maybe Rams Head? Does he put on a good show?

yeah, i think he's at the rams head on the 11th....

the show itself was good, he played a lot of lemonhead songs, just the storming off was kinda crappy lol....his guitarist labeled it "artistic perogative"....jay farrar coming on early and playing a two and a half hour set made up for it, but I dont think Id spend money on seeing Dando by his lonesome

Speechless - an evening of instrumental music - featuring southkill, 302 acid, chessie, tone, amy domingues, big lazy, lanterna, my education, and cinders.  Saturday, 1/10 @ 7pm at the Source Theater.  Haven't checked how much tix are.  Links listed didn't seem to have any relevant info so I would call the theater directly for more info.

I saw him at the Black Cat in 2002.  The music was great at times, not so great other times.  He did this thing where he'd play the song acoustically and then about midsong, hit the fuzzbox and play the last half of each song amid a wash of crunchy distortion.

Supposedly, he was clean at that point.  If so, he's passed the point of no return in braincell loss, because he was a total space cadet.

I might go if I'm free that night.  The Lemonheads songs are great, but don't expect much more than a glorified open-mic night.
