Highly touted is not the same as highly praised.
This was aggressively marketed when it came out, with all sorts of articles saying things to the effect of "Woah, Adam Ant put out an album? Who knew?"

Wow, now there's one I might consider going to for nostalgia purposes. Probably saw them at least a half dozen times while in college in the 80's.
