I think that it's fine to do this, and would also be fine for The Hives show.

makes me recall seeing a clip of Julian in the midst of a GWAR mosh pit yelling out smiths lyrics in an Armani suit in 90 degree weather with a lot of GWAR beer and other brown liquor in his system...it didn't end well

Actually, this makes perfect sense to me. I think it's going to be a pretty seamless fit. Interpol fans aren't beer-swilling jocks. They wear black on the outside because black is how they feel on the inside. Voila.

I am just constantly in wonder of how pathetic and weak-willed someone must be to have their enjoyment of a concert ruined by someone else in looking at their phone. I would think the ego stroking of getting to declare someone else "not a tr00 music fan" and yourself, by extension, better would be the sort of thing that would fuel many of your fragile self-esteems for another day.

This is the same dipshit who threw a temper tantrum when student reporters at the Univ of Oklahoma ran a story on his rider.
