 I think this is a dickhead thing for EC to do.  He could sell out the 9:30 club on his own without some stupid Visa/House of Blues partnership.  For almost an entire month, the only people who can purchase tickets to this are people who have an invitation-only credit card?  Diapers and keeping Diana Krall in face cream must be expensive.

Actually, at $75 a ticket, the 930 Club might be taking a loss...it all depends on what Elvis C. charges to play the 930. $75 X 1200 people = $90,000. It also looks like this is one of the smallest venues of the tour.
 
 He is also charging $75 for floor seats at the Warfield (San Francisco) and $40 for balcony.

The last time JB played 9:30 it was a bit lower at $55. Melissa Etheridge did 4 nights 2 or 3 years ago and each was $75. She sold out most of the nights, if not all o' them.
