 i think it was worth mentioning because this is the kind of high-caliber show that gets people on an airplane.  i'm kinda considering it, but i try limiting myself to one concert-related plane trip per month (and i've already got lolla in august).  i'm willing to bet that QOTSA will get more than a 45-min opening set, especially if no one else is added to the bill. [/b]

I'd hope they do. Queens are really tits when they get to play a full set, granted their opening set with NIN was still top notch. I would give a finger to go to this show, man.

Yeah should be a fun show. I was let down by Beach House the one time I saw them but they were an opener and you know how it is with openers and less than stellar sound. Papercuts put on a decent show that night too. Maybe Beach House will sound better as a headliner.

i actually saw them live once, not that long ago (few years), and it was the worst trainwreck of a "comeback attempt" concert.  the crowd was so not into it and the group seemed to really be getting pissed.
