You Missed the Best Show of the Year

If you didn't go to Marah at Iota last night, you fu$*cked up.  I'm betting no one on this board went.

When you are dying to get tickets to see them at Black Cat in 6 months or 930 in 8 months, you will longingly imagine what their show for 80 people at Iota was like.

F the White Stripes, Strokes, and whoever else is to save music.  These guys are rock n roll.

 I can't believe Rhett didn't go.

I did see Explosions in the Sky in Baltimore a bit back.  That was a brilliant show.

I saw them open for Steve Earle quite awhile ago. Felt like I should like them, but they didn't get me. Think my wife heard them once, and she didn't care for them...

Plus my mom and uncle were in town, and Rosie Thomas at a seated non-smoking venue is about the limits of what i could push on them....won't be going to drive by truckers wed, though that would be cool.

But will make up for it by seeing Bobby Bare Jr with Trailer Bride and the Legendary Shack Shakers in NC on Friday!
