Be sure to leave it at the curb on the designated pickup day.

So do you feel worse about the trees, or the turkeys and the hams? What kind of an animal is a ham anyhow? I am pretty sure I have never seen one.

Xmas trees are an agricultural product like corn or wheat.  It's not like people are stomping into virgin forest and chopping down every fraser fir they see.  They're grown on farms.  Do you feel bad for corn?

Improperly-harvested dirt kills millions of worms a year.

Homer: Are you saying you're never going to eat any animal again? What about bacon?

 Lisa: No.

 Homer: Ham?

 Lisa: No!

 Homer: Pork chops?

Lisa: Dad, those all come from the same animal!

Homer: Heh heh heh... ooh... yeah... right, Lisa. A wonderful... magical animal.

Nice spot, my reply was inspired by that.
