Flight of the Conchords Tickets
« on: April 11, 2008, 10:07:00 am »
Hey - I haven't seen a show at Lisner in ages.  I think I caught John Stewart there like 10 years ago.  Anyway, I know some of their shows are general admission while others have reserved seating. Any idea which they're doing for Conchords?

So much for that. I had two tickets, center terrace row DD and on the last page - ticketmaster suddenly "couldn't process my order" and returned me to the main ticketmaster page.

 so now i have nothing.
 and i'm pretty pissed...

 anyone have two extras?
 *sigh*

I don't know about you guys but I'd rather see Flight of the Conchords than past-their-prime Radiohead...

Also, what-the-fuck is up with all these bullshit Live Nation / Ticketmaster service fees?!  My "$35" Conchords ticket came out to $48 after fees!  WTF?!

OKAY, HOW DID YOU FUCKERS GET TICKETS.

I can tell you honestly that I had my father stationed at my computer at 11:45 today and at 12 on the dot he could not purchase two tickets for EITHER show.  he could not purchase three tickets.  he could not purchase four tickets.  he could not purchase ONE TICKET.  anywhere.

and we kept at it for an hour and at 12:40 finally got off hold with ticketmaster who informed us that both shows were sold out.

there must be some sort of fucking conspiracy going on, as i currently wonder how it is possible for two FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS shows to be sold out at the time that they go on sale.  i understand that shows sell out in a couple of minutes, or a half hour, or whatever.  but unless you are letting HOARDS OF SCALPERS access early tickets, or unless some fucker opened a box office early at GW, how did this happen?
