YIKES looks like i'll be waiting to get this one off eMusic... tis amazing what impact a couple "kwel" bloggers can have.  witness Annie who is perfectly described as Kylie Minoque for the indie set. were it not for a lift of a Basement Jaxx's loop, i'm guessin the impact would have been minimal.

Must agree with Smackie and Pollard...I heard her kcrw session and found it to be quite *blah*..yet every Coachella review talks about her set and people begging for an encore..so maybe I'm wrong...
 
 As a side note, Cartel will be on Woxy's Live Lounge Friday May 20th...do tune in  :p

I'm really enjoying the MIA album.  I heard that she was the only second stage act to play an encore at Coachella.  For those that like her, they're going to do a piece on her on npr tomorrow morning.
