It can be fine (as in not bad or awful) but still not impressive.  So it wasn't bad, but it wasn't great.  Better?  ;)

Wow...I guess maybe my expectations were lower than everyone else's, but there were a few moments that made me feel like I was really in the presence of greatness. I'd rather watch Lou play what he wants to play than have him do a half-assed job of "Walk on the Wild Side" or "Rock'n'Roll" (and who was that douche that kept yelling for it?). I didn't expect Lou to play more than an hour and 15 minutes, maybe that's just because I had heard he doesn't play long shows. So in the end, I was pleasantly surprised that we at least got 3 Velvets songs and one solo "hit". "Power of the Heart" was still the one song that made the whole night worth it for me. I never heard it before, but I thought it was phenomenal.

I thought the show was great.  Definitely not the setlist I would have chosen, but the band was excellent.

I think the downstairs bar was open.  The bars on the main floor were closed at 8:50.

I took several pics (none of the great really), but then one staffer told me to delete them, and the guy stayed there till I did it, not nice.
The show was OK, nothing spectacular IMO

The bars on the main floor were closed before Lou came out at the request of the artist.  The bars upstairs and downstairs were open.

No cameras was also an artist request, and I had to check mine at the door.  I'm surprised that you even got in with one and not surprised that they made you delete the pictures.

I noticed one or two other people take pictures with phones but I got the evil eye so I stopped. Here's my other. The third one was even more blurry.

That setlist looks great to me.  How was I'm Sticking With You?  Will the velvets ever do a reunion tour... in America?

this thread is toast i fear.. unless someone has pictures..

but no, velvets will not ever reunite because sterling morrison died....and thats the end of that..

i was at show and i really enjoyed it.. i love the songs i wasn't familiar with.. maybe it helped i was four feet from lou.. i dunno... i thought it was great...

on the downside there should have been an opener if he was only going to play 12 songs..

Speaking from experience. I wouldn't go posting pictures of a show where there's a no camera policy  ;)
